I never carry much weight. Might stick my spare tire back up under there or something. My tires are 265/75/16

If I had a garage, I'd totally take that home and put it away for when I got a new job and some excess money to build it up as a perfect little Baja explorer with a commercial shell on the back.

It's got rust. Don't do it.

Eh, same problem as the tent on the Flippac - it's not a 4 season tent. Snow will make it collapse, you'll lose a bunch of heat without a good heater, etc.

A few days ago I posted about my Amazon Warehouse Reese Class III hitch score ($98.00). Today, got the wire harness installed. Bought an Autozone conversion kit type for $24.00

I replaced the factory original fuel injectors with the green Denso remans from Motor West. LTFT's used to fluctuate constantly every second or two, and they were all over the place. With the new injectors my LTFT is a rock steady 0.00 on the freeway and I could feel the power curve ramp up SO smoothly. Couldn't believe what a difference it made! If you have old fuel injectors, you might want to think about replacing them just for the performance gain. You just get used to an engine that micro-stumbles because the computer is constantly trying to compensate for the imperfections in the equipment.

Thanks to @Timmah! for the awesome videos on injectors and valve cover gaskets for the 3.4L V6.

    KIMG0911.jpg

While I was "in there" I also did a valve cover job to replace the leaky cam plugs (but did a full job with tube seals, half moons, PCV, etc.) and wrapped the wire looms with TESA Tape. I was surprised to discover my harness was just sitting on top of the engine without any looms, plastic shields were long gone. Thanks to @1997tacomav6 for the mod idea! Overall job took me about 9 hours, but it was my first time doing it so I took it slow. I documented everything and labeled all the hoses which made reassembly really easy.

While I had my valve covers off I noticed things looked pretty clean in there, but there's a bit of wear on the cam gears. The lobes had some pitting, but not bad. I figure a bit of wear is normal for an engine with this many miles on it. Valve shims looked clean. I'm open to comments if anyone has any.

When you reinstall the throttle body in order for the throttle body bolts to tighten, the new metal wire loom tab probably will need to be hammered down or
a pair of vise grips to flatten it just a little because it might actually hit the Lower part of the throttle body. You will understand when you get there. FYI.

That back passenger side wireloom clip in particularly will be a small issue hitting the throttle body under side, but will need a little bending flat to make the extra clearance to fit.

Quick question regarding removing doors on 4dr: Where is the disconnect for the wiring, inside door, or behind the kick panel (and center pillar)? @BartMaster1234

All nooks & crannies now upgraded with Dog Hair!
Buddies shop was available yesterday (Saturday) and we got several items done off my never-shortening list. Main thing was installing the Tundra brake upgrade. 15794011806628.jpg
    15794011806879.jpg
    15794011807150.jpg
Not as amazing as I thought but I'll do another bleed in a few days and see if the beers (plural) we were enjoying while wrenching were the cause of a less than detail-oriented bleed job. In other news we also changed the oil in both diffs (replaced the front drain plug with a new one because we had to essentially destroy the old one to get it off), did a minor tune-up (new plugs and wires), rotated the wheels and installed 1" spacers to hopefully stop the minor rubbing on the frame at full lock.
    15794011807381.jpg
That seems to have solved that issue but now the tire hits the plastic liner on one corner of the fender a bit so today, before football, I'm going to trim that off and take a BFH to the area.

    Go 49ers!

PS - Forgot to mention the brake job was made possible and WAY easier because I had the hardline/braket/line kit from @turbodb (Thanks Dan!)

So I switched up the tires. I took the Milestars in yesterday to Discount Tire after having the shakes last week while driving and come to find out I went from 19/32nds to 14 on 2 tires and 16 and 17 on another with only 500 miles. So I decided to give the Pathfinders a try!
