    Hello everyone,

Prospective owner in a few days but I'm just on the fence about the color that I want. So far, the order that I would get is 1. White and 2. Cement.

The only issue that is making me doubt white is the maintenance about white. I've read about some white tacomas having issues with the clear coat and oxidation with white. I was reading that the way to prevent this is to keep using wax or sealant religiously, is this correct? Any other suggestions on keeping white paint healthy?

So I'm here to ask, which color requires the least maintenance and will have the least problems in the future, cement or white?

    Thank you!

both are light colors so I don't see major differences nor heard issues on either color. paint overall isn't the strongest on a taco.

    Thanks everyone!

And is it right that if I keep the car on a religious schedule of wax or sealant then this would slow down the deterioration of the paint?

White has best resale, cement is great, especially on the offroad models.

White has the problem with fall out. If you live near a rail line I would lean towards cement.

Rail dust is the better term, googling it shows nothing but white cars haha.

Rail dust. If you also park under bridges or any other large metal structures you can find them on your car. Products like Iron-x and then clay baring help remove them. I thought white was the most low maintenance, but it's actually pretty high if you're OCD like me. The only thing it hides well is swirl marks. Amazingly, inferno hides swirls and dirt pretty well. I would go for cement.

Ohhhh lol. Well that's good news. I won't be anywhere near under bridges or rails.

Why would you go for cement? Why is it your preference?

I'd go cement, looks good and I haven't seen anyone post about paint problems with it, if I was buying.
