    Attempted Top of the World, Utah. Made it to the first big obstacle but couldn't get traction. Will be back in a few months to try again. Still fun to see the trail covered in snow!

    Opal Mtn. and Black Canyon Road near Barstow, CA. We were rock hounding for opal and jasper. Got some pretty little thumbnail pieces, and also got to try out my new topper mounted ditch lights when we stopped to look at some petroglyphs on the canyon sides in the dark:

    oh yeah- I ended up saying screw it to running a real switch into the cab for the lights and used this remote relay unit instead: what a difference!!

    We did a few actually but the most fun was Devils Bridge and continued on to Dry creek. Theres a few off shoots, but the cabin off shoots was the best.
