Personally, I couldn't tell there was play in the LBJs before I removed them. It was obvious they were bad once off the truck, but not so bad you could feel play with a pry bar under the wheel with the truck on jacks.

I replaced manual trans and transfer case fluid with Redline MT-90, it's expensive, but should be good for many miles. I didn't notice any difference shifting after that though. Gear oil I used Lucas Oil, as it was priced right. Wouldn't hurt to flush and bleed your brake fluid, along with the clutch fluid too if they look dark, any DOT 3/4 will do.

You should search the forums and internet for an owners manual which lists all the fluid types. You should also download a FSM (Factory Service Manual) for your truck, it explains just about everything down to torque specs. I use both of those along with youtube to fix just about anything on the truck.

I will have to double check LBJs but they do look like they've been replaced. Thank you for fluid recommendations and I actually have the original manual. I will definitely download FSM.

Alright so after a weekend of trailing I decided to wash the truck. I get in the truck and use the right blinker ... blinks like a bulb is out so turn truck off and walk around and find that its the front right blinker. I take it out clean it and put it back in then go turn the truck to acc not fully started and turn on right blinker it works fine but I still go and look. As I was walking back to truck they stopped. Left and right blinkers both front and rear wont work with the blinker switch no lights on the dash either. Hazards work fine and all lights blink, bright lights work fine, just blinkers wont work. I don't have the cover for the fuse box next to left knee so I don't know which fuse is the "turn" fuse.

    UPDATE

Blown “turn” fuse simple 10 amp fuse swap. All fixed.

Alright so in two days I had the toytec bilstein 3” lift, diff drop, timing belt, water pump, crank and camshaft seals, belt roller and tensioner all done. Now today to get the stereo, intake plenum gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and last install the scan gauge. The past two days have been really long but thanks to those who contributed, helped ALOT.

Also forgot to mention Spc racing uca’s, LBJ’s and UBJ’s done yesterday as well.

I’ve been working on it from 8am to 11pm for both days. I’m tired, Sore, and dedicated. I’ve always enjoyed working on things but never have any projects cause that costs $$$ and as a college student I don’t have any lol. So when I see an opportunity to get stuff done I get stuff done! I’ve always been like that I don’t put stuff off unless it’s school work haha. I’ll get some pics here in the next hour or so.

This is the kit I bought, seems like for the money this would be a better kit but that’s up to you.

Meh, I have the oem cam seals and put new belts on pretty recently. I don’t like paying oem prices when I can buy the same parts from the same manufacturer without the fancy Toyota packaging.

Front differential rotation mod looks a bit skewed, at least from the picture. Are the bushings in those differential mounts okay?

It puts the differential in a slanted position, I’m not a big fan but they are supposed to be like that.
