110g of fat is pretty pussy for your size/caloric intake. ;) I wouldn’t think its that.

Mine must be the meds. Every time I eat something in my abdomen cramps up. I stopped them Weds night so hopefully its gone soon. A dairy reaction wouldn’t hang out this long.

Thats a good idea about the small exercises people tend to neglect. A good time to get back to basics
Thats a bummer. Keep us in the loop about what the PT says. Hopefully they get you on the path to recovery quickly.

    Are you ready for this?

    I average 75 miles a week.

    Step your shit up.

6 miles a day is pretty good. Staying active during the day with two walks a day at work helps me focus. I’m jealous of your outdoor playground. Sounds like you have a pretty cool job.

I reminded her of what my habits were and what hers are, so of course it's going to take longer to see it. Tried to give her a couple of suggestions but she rage quit instead..her choice.

Comp review time. Woke up and weighed 226.5 on my scale at home. On the light side but that let me eat and drink all morning. Had my coffee, oatmeal and ground beef/ rice before I headed to the comp. Weighed in at 226 on the scale they were using so my scale at home runs a few lbs heavier.

Got my openers and rack heights all put in and started warming up for squats. I thought they were going to run everyone through their openers before moving to second attempts. They did 83kg and 93kg 1-3 attempts before moving to 105+ attempts so I was warmed up way to early.

Hit 450lb easy. Forgot to give them my second attempt so they automatically increased it to 457lb. Dumb mistake on my part. Hit that easy as well (was planning on 475 as my 2nd). Put in for 496 and went down way to fast and the bar got out in front of me halfway up. Felt like I was grinding for 5 seconds before I failed it. Would have gotten 485-490.

Bench I hit 330, 341, and missed 352 due to my head coming off the bench. Honestly could have hit 365 but USAPL is veryyyyy technical. Long pauses and the bar better be still at the start and end of the rep.

Deadlifts I hit my opener at 520, second at 540 and sent my third at 562 for a 17lb pr. Felt like rpe8 and I think I had another 15-20lbs in me.

Went 7/9 for my first comp and had a blast. I actually placed 3rd in the 105kg class.

My buddy who was going to handle me bailed last minute, which made for a stressful day trying to figure everything out. Everyone at the comp was extremely helpful though, giving out pointers and tips which was awesome.

I’ll probably do another comp this year and try to hit the 1400 total I wanted. I’ll But for now I need to transition to more cardio and calisthenics for various pt tests I have coming up.

Good job man. I’m wondering if USAPL purposely uses scales that weigh light. I had the exact same experience with weighing in way lighter than on my home scale.

Thanks, he’s known to be a bit flakey so I wasn’t expecting much. Few friends from work showed up and hung out through squat and bench with me.

Who knows I wouldn’t have been worrying so much about my weight since I was 230-232 leading up to it.

I didn’t know about that. How much lighter were you on their scales as opposed to yours
    Last time?
