Hey this is a little post if anybody was thinking of installing lights under their lil 5 lugs.

    This is the final product:

These are the lights I used:

    The Switch i used:

    Wiring kit:

    My process:
I used the Walmart wiring kit ~ $10, it comes with a red circular switch. Its a nice switch but doesn't look factory. For another ~ $8 I bought a factory style switch which fits in the tacomas dash. My three lower left slots are full. I pulled the blank from one of the upper left ones, and it was a PITA to route those wires. I routed the harness from the battery to the dash. The main output wire from the harness went through the channel of the frame, to under the drivers door. The output through a hole in the frame under the door, soldered to one light . This is the style with a few LED's in a plastic housing. I used big clear zip ties to attach the light against the frame. This throws light strait out the side, towards somebody's ankles if they were standing. For the passenger side I had a length of dual shielded wire. I zip tied it along the stock routing near the base of the hood. (Be careful of the exhaust manifold.)Same process through the channel of the frame to the light again. Im sorry I dont have pictures of each step, I broke my ass on some ice and my phone doesnt work.

This could totally be adapted to be wrap around underglow, of any color even. four of them on a double cab would be kickass! You could wire the relay signal wire to the parking lights to power them from the key. You could do this under the hood instead for a work light. Very versatile parts list there.

    Please leave me some comments/questions/feedback!
