    I agree. For passing no problem but I don't want my truck winding up to 5k for an hour drive. Seems senseless to me. It's not a 2 stroke 125 dirtbike its a truck

    That is within the normal operation.

    Bouncing off the rev limiter would be "a little excessive".

    If you say so. I've never had the need to run mine like that but I'm also in Florida and it's flat

    I live at 7000' and drive down to 4000' and over 10500' mountain passes, and to keep up with traffic, I need to put her in S-Mode and hold 3rd.

    That's a little different. In your case I can see how you would need to rev it out. In flat Florida I do great just using s mode and the shift sense. Wish I lived in Colorado, love it out there

    Put 315s on and you’ll never have to worry about overdrive again.
