I keep trying to decide if the cul-de-sac at the end of my neighborhood would work. It's mostly dark down there and even though I'm close to Dulles and Manassas I don't think I'm in a no-fly zone.

    Thanks!

If you pm me your address I can check.

Your house is out of the no fly zone. Is there a large field near by that we have permission to use?

yes, that is what I was thinking. I tried to find out if axel housings were cast with mounting points but could not find any. Found plates that bolt on tho.

Stick weld with a nickle rod. It has to be preheated and you only weld a short section at a time them peen it with a scale gun or chipping hammer so it won’t crack before welding an additional section

Spousal unit got invited by her sister to a Jeep thing at Anthracite Off Road Adventure park in Western PA. She checked the weather and decided it was too cold to go play. And that was without camping.

You could use my/my neighbors yard,
Or there's a big park off 234 north of Manassas that's pretty empty. Just first spot that comes to mind w/o some sort of closed after dark

Anyone have a flashlight that's powered by the 18650 battery? I accidentally bought three of these in a rechargeable version and don't care to send them back. They're rechargeable via USB micro plug. Plugs directly into the battery. Made by Fenix. Want one? Or all three? Let me know and I can drop them in an envelope.
