Another Day In Colorado

Start of the trail starts off pretty easy with great views especially with the aspens changing


My friend in her Nissan Frontier coming up the first rough patch.



Ended up at this campsite towards the top with great views





Continuing the climb, Nothing to difficult but the picture just doesn't show how rough it was

Nice pictures, i been wanting to hit a trail and go camping for a while now but have not had the chance. looks fun

 

Then get out! Haha it is always great to get out and away

 

If you dont mind me asking where do you guys find these trails???? I live in Colorado and would like to hit some of these so long as a stock TRD can handle it since I dont have my lift yet.

Very very carefully. It was kind of funny when we were done and sitting around at a parking lot near the trail-head entrance we saw a 2nd gen xterra go driving up the trail head and 10 min later it was driving on back.

Also check out http://staythetrail.org/ for trail info and downloadable WVUM's (motor vehicle use map). There are tons of trails that are stocker friendly.

 

No way man. Colorado's horrible. The bears feast on babies, the mosquitos suck blood by the gallon, it's bitter freezing cold, and it snows 11 months a year. Don't ever move here.
