    That would be awesome!

Yup just to make some extra money though. I’ve been thinking about selling my wife’s 4runner instead and just keeping the two Tacoma’s but I don’t think she will go for it

Tacoma 5 lug is 5x114.3. As well as most Toyota cars. Except corollas and priuses. Those are 5x100

    Stupid expensive haha. Just checked.

Rockauto has an Exedy kit for $155. Or a cheapo for as low as $100.

$365 with a new flywheel also. $283 without. The Aisin one is about $255 online. I’ve never ran exedy, always aisin ones.

Why are you dumping a lot of money into someone elses truck? Gotta think about your profit margin here. Heck, Id even run moog ball joints on that if it needed them.

I’ll probably buy the exedy and get a Napa flywheel. Best of both worlds :)

I've done a mod or two
I can't bring myself to do shitty work even to someone else's crap. That'll come back on you somehow.

@buckmaster243 The aisin clutches are trash BTW, plastic spring retainers

Just dont sell to friends and family. The warranty is up once the truck leaves your driveway.

The people who make a shitload of money on flipping cars do it by using cheapo parts. Theres only like a hundred people on youtube who now drive Lambos cause they flipped cars for a living.

Also, why replace the flywheel if you dont even know if its bad?

If I was working on someone elses car for them, Ill always try to find the best deals on the best parts in their price range.

But a car thats being flipped? Stick to middle of the road stuff and youd be fine.

Intermittent does nothing. It’s just a different switch. That’s all. Easy upgrade if you wanted

I bought the exedy. I’ll just pick up the flywheel in case I need it and return it if I don’t.

That’s good to know about the Aisin ones.

Yup. You can always plan out as much as you want using nice quality stuff. But after the 18th unplanned trip to the parts store for unexpected stuff you begin to realise youre making 0 profit.
