I ain't got 2 of them like you! I expect to see your 2nd gen with a solid axle soon!

 

I think if you take the third member out of the rear, it would not have any support for the axle shafts and your rear wheels would look like / \ that

 

I think the rolling of my silver truck has started an offroad build for it soon! I'm also thinking about line x'ing the whole truck once I replace the damaged parts.

 

I’ve had a couple people tell me they were able to take the diff out and limp home

 

I know people open them up and pull the broken bits out and have luck, but not sure if you can take everything?

Might be easier to snag a cheap beater car for the time being, sell it when you're done.

 

I'd go ahead and contact that CL post in your other thread with the guy parting out a trd off road Tacoma. Try and buy the 3rd member off him. Easy swap and you're back in the road.

Found one, but either need TW express or to rent a uhaul truck and bring it back

 

Do you just need the 3rd or the whole axle?
If it's just the 3rd have a mbr buy it and ship it to you. It's usually about $50 to ship them and they fit in a 5 gallon bucket for shipping.
