What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I have those as switchbacks. So those are smoked covers because I didn’t want them to standout and I wanted them to look natural. They function as my puddle lights that operate with my dome light. I get close to my vehicle they will light up just like my lights do underneath the truck by the steps. This is an earlier pic I took of just my underneath lights that come on with my dome light.

When I wire my Switch-Pros back up I will take some updated videos of all my lights. So with these lights, my white lights under my mirror will also light up.

Then, when I’m driving, as a warning to the vehicles on my side because they may be in a place where they cannot see directly behind me, I have it so that this same part will flash Amber. This will Flash Amber as well as the side TRD on my Head Lights and soon Taillights. This is the only video I have of them

I can also turn on all of my white lights at anytime including my mirror puddle lights.

 

Don't know if I would call them "ditch lights", they light up the entire forest! Guess they do the job and then some. Thx.

They do make a spot light but since you cant adjust them once installed we went with flood lights. One bonus with these is you can pull or push the mirror from inside the truck for side lights.

I don't think so. Placing weight at the back of the bed will pivot over the back axle, making the weight on the front wheels less, and therefore less traction on the front wheels. I believe this article has it right, and for my 2WD, placing bags directly over the rear axles is recommended for better all around traction in snow etc.

You got the 3 steps from bottom to too now. Flares - mirrors- roof rack. Goes well.

 

Yes it does have a small acces panel with 2 bolts to remove.

 

If you’re talking about the low and high beams, yes. The Hikari Ultra LEDs (eye of megatron) replace the stock bulbs. The H11 size fits both.
