hey guys. i've read a lot about all the towing everyone does but it seems that no one has pulled anything WITHOUT the towing package. i have an 08 TSS double cab that i am looking to pull a 6x12 trailer with a Kubota RTV about 400 miles (round trip) to the hunting lease. do you think that this will be a problem with my truck? i don't have anything aftermarket on the truck other than the leveling kit and a set of 275/60R20 Wrangler SilentArmor tires.

    thanks for the help gentlemen!!!

I do NOT have the tow package. I added a class III hidden hitch and a plug and play flat four connector that plugs into the tail lights. I pulled a fully loaded 6x12 Uhaul trailer a few times moving myself and friends without any issues. Trailer empty weighs about 2,000 lbs so I'm guessing it was 3,500 lbs give or take loaded (Could be weight off, estimate only). I hauled the trailer loaded for about 100 miles total and probably 50 unloaded. Uhauls have surge brakes though so you may require a brake controller for your trailer.

Oh, and I am stock height, stock tire size, V6 automatic SR5 4x4 if it matters.
