I have a 2017 trd tacoma, and I recently bought a set of new headlights, it turned out that the lights I bought were not compatible to a trd model tacoma (the connectors were different). is there any way around this?

    Thank you

Looks like you put sr5 up top. So you possibly got trd headlights and the drls are what’s different?

    pictures would help

I don't know what you want us to tell you dude. Sounds like you answered your own question. If you bought the wrong bulbs, you bought the wrong bulbs. Theres no way around that. I believe for TRD models you need h11s for lows and fogs and h9s for highs.

Op never mentioned bulbs so I’m not sure what you want us to tell you o_O you jumped to quickly on this one bro

but seriously he mentioned different connectors and I’m assuming his listed sr5 is his trim and they have different drl than the trd (sport, or, pro) which makes sense with his reference to different connectors. Also I’m not sure if there is (I would think so but I don’t have a sr5) a way to tap the needed wires to make it work… which was op was asking
