Wife and I may actually be moving down that way in the next month or so. Both starting new jobs in the Manchester area. As far as the fishing is concerned...what kind of setup you have for around here?

I took my boys earlier today, not a lot of people there, we had a good time. The boys sat in every car they could get into. Sort of looked at cars for my wife but not looking to buy anything for a couple years so really just killing time with the boys.

    Lots of sail boat fuel
I have a 10.5'sit in and a 11.5 sit on top with pedal drive. The pedal drive is new to us, and is really for the wife. Her wrists get tired if she's out all day on the water or I make her travel 7 miles across the lake. Thank you Umbagog.

I actually got into wheeling and deep woods camping because of fishing. I actually prefer my 10.5'. Easy to load up. I normally take two rods, tackle bag, a few waters and lunch.

Around here there is lots to fish. I fish everything from here to about Dartmouth. Bass and trout are a really good bite. Lots of fly fishing too.

That was kind of all over the place. If you have any specific questions let me know. I'm at a point now where really I could go out with one rod and a sandwich baggy worth of lures and do just fine.

And if you don't have a kayak yet, don't break the bank. They've come a long way.

Son of a bitch was that a cold snowmobile trip to Quebec. Pretty good riding though. Today feels like a heat wave in comparison.

No one else working today? I'm the only one working hard(ly)?

Wouldn't say I'm working, but I'm not off. In Boston for the day at our sales kickoff. Love this week because I only have to be there for the first day of it then the rest of the week I'm alone in my department and can get so much shit done without anyone bothering me.

I'm working today. It's a holiday for the 'office' so technically that includes me but, since the unions are working, I'm working. Traffic was freaking awesome on the way in and I don't expect to be here overly late this afternoon either...

Want to make a cam chest cover. Need to find a decent sized billet first....

    At work. Raging headache(tension related).

Hell, even our office is working.

RI - we don't get the day off. We celebrate VJ day though (August). Seems appropriate...

Was nice yesterday, melted most of the snow. Shouldn't have spent the time clearing the driveway, my neighbors are snow birds and their drive is already all melted.

Had the same tires for the last 50k miles. Just had to replace them and went to Falken because, like you said, the new model from General is an E rated and I don’t need that or wanted to pay the bigger price for it. The Grabber2 was an awesome tire

Got more miles out of it than I got on mine! I replaced my 2018 battery with like 28k on it this summer.

What the hell is a VJ day?!

Victory over Japan day. RI has a big Naval influence (shocking) so we still commemorate the disproportionate losses RI saw during WWII. It's been renamed "Victory Day" and is meant to be observed for "All".

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory_Day_(United_States)

It's observed by RI, and no other states.

    Yup.

Thanks for the tip. I have heard of Victory Day, which I guess makes sense if thats the "new" name of the day.

Wow, thats short life for a battery.
I finally went to Advanced and got an Optima Red Top. Non Spillable and vibration resistant.
Maybe that's why our Lead/acid batteries die so quickly.

Lead/acid wet cell batts are known to "gas" off and causing corrosion. This can happen like you said getting shaken around, and normal charging. AGM sealed is the way to go hands down. Gel is okay with Optima their quality has gone down over the years. Look into North Star well worth the coin and RC if needed.

Wow, I thought the treadwear rating on those tires were somewhere in the 55-60,000 mile range? I just put a set on my wife's Grand Cherokee a few weeks back since I wore out the stock Michelins in under 35,000. I'll have to keep my eye on the tread. One of her TPMS sensors isnt're responding, so I'll have to do some investigation this coming weekend.

I went yesterday. I found it very underwhelming. There were many manufacturers that weren't there to check out including nearly all the Euro brands. My friend is looking for a new car, so we were looking at his options. I really wanted to check out the new LED headlights on the Tacoma but they only had a Pro there, not the lower trims as I wanted to see the difference with the chrome strip versus no chrome strip on the Pro but with the stupid "PRO" in the headlamp itself.

I sat in the new Kia Telluride. If they keep making that bodystyle for a few years I can easily see it being the next family car. I was extremely impressed by it if we go the 3-row route. The Pilot has an awful dead pedal situation that is super uncomfortable for me. The CX-9 wasn't bad either.
