What if some of us are outside of our CC dispute time frame.. How exactly do you expect to refund our purchase then? Or we just SOL?

In your case since the other refund method didn't work out, I contacted Stripe and they are going to contact your bank and issue you the refund. They estimate it could take up to 30 days.

Just installed these today! Overall pretty happy with it. A little disappointed with how easily the lens scratch up. One side near the sidemarkers is all scratched from trying to get the headlight back in. Learned my lesson for the other side by leaving the protective film on until everything is back in place. Minor annoyance as I bet it'll buff out, but would've been nice to have a warning in the instructions or something.

Also, I remember reading of somebody's headlights turning on in the middle of the night. Has that issue been resolved?

I have an SR5 with the XB Morimoto headlight; therefore requiring me to tap into the engine bay fuse box. As far as I know, and I've followed this thread, the lights turning on at night or on their own has not been resolved. I called TRS and I they instructed me to tap into a different 10 amp fuse. To me it seems risky to venture out alone, since this was advertised as Plug and Play. I am waiting for the resolution.

Kinda hard to capture the scratches.

Hmm yeah I have an SR so I'm a little concerned as well. Have you noticed this problem with yours?

I have a dash cam with parking mode on my SR5, which monitors motion. During the night, the dash cam captures the Morimoto DRL turning on randomly for about 4 minutes. Coworkers also inform me that the DRL's turn on during my working hours.

I have not found a dead battery or other operating issue...yet. I also have remote start and it monitors the battery voltage via the app. I am crossing my fingers that this issue doesn't prematurely kill my battery or cause an issue before someone finds a real resolution. Good luck.

Curious, what did you scratch the lens on? Did you remove the bumper entirely to remove and install the assemblies?

I took the blue protective wrap off, cut it smaller then stuck it back on till install was complete.

That's a good point. I pulled the bumper only partway off. I think it scratched on the corner of the bumper. Still didn't take a lot to scratch it though.

That's a bummer. It doesn't take much to scratch any of today's lenses. Hopefully you can buff the scratches and be good as new. Maybe give TRS a call and see if they have any tips on the best way to do it.

That should be another incredible story. I'll put a reminder in for 30 days and see what I get. Just be sure to stick around, I'd hate to miss it.

Love that grill, I almost went with that one.

Interesting... I think the solution was a while back to try a different 10amp fuse because some of the electronics do turn on and cycle while the vehicle itself is off or the ignition is off. I've heard it before just randomly doing stuff before, similar to the noises you hear when you shut off your truck and lock it but it's still doing whatever it is. I wouldn't stress trying another fuse, just tap a different one and see if that alleviates the problem. Not going to hurt anything

Very common to scratch lenses on headlights on the part of the fenders that come to a point. Happened with my last car. Tapping off those corners helps too along with leaving the protective film in place until they're securely installed.

@Justin Exploring...how would you say the color match is between the LED headlights here and your rigid industry fogs; I have the same fogs and it was something that I just thought about...

They're somewhat close, the average person would most likely never know the difference. But the rigid fogs are def a shade cooler and have more of a slight blue to them compared to the morimotos which are almost completely white. I found this only noticeable in person, all the photos I have they look about the same.

Bummer. Confirmed my DRL's are turning on randomly with engine off. Suggestions on fuses I can tap into? Or another workaround?

Those scratches look very familiar. Usually caused by the farthest tip of the fender. Most of those scratches should buff out. Nice truck btw.

Installed the XBs 3 weeks ago and so far am really happy with them. Install took a few hours and overall was pretty easy. I think taking the extra time to remove the bumper helped. I Really like the output and projection. Alignment was pretty good but does need some dialing in. This was the final bit of exterior chrome I needed to deal with.

Some recent photos of my girl. Had the lights now for a couple months. Still very satisfied!
