I really thought about it too, but I figured I’d fill up and it would be covered. So just added a few red and black molle pouches with a bunch of red and black patches. I think I spent more on patches and pouches than I did on the rack

I dremeled them down. Took five minutes. Then took a round file and knocked down any burrs. I swapped out to 2” bolts. Bolt and washer go through handle, through rack, through spacer, screw it down and bobs your uncle.

    UPDATE:
-My local dealership is hooking me up with a Sunroof Tacoma, I am picking it up on Monday. I'll have it for a few days so I can get a design and finally give you sunroof guys a product!

-All new versions of the overhead rack going forward (regular and sunroof) will now incorporate HEX cutouts instead of molle slots. I think this will give more flexibility to mounting items, along with a perfect hole to mount my HEX pods leds. Win win:)

-I am also finalizing a design to retain the OEM grab handles. I've got quite a few requests, so here it is! Since some people want to go with paracord or no handles at all, It will be an add-on option during checkout.
The goal was ZERO modifications to your handle, it will be a 12-Pc kit (4 back spacers, 4 caps, 4 extended bolts)
    estimated price~$15-20.

    SUNROOF OWNERS REJOICE.
Truck is here and I started brainstorming. Went through a few different ideas on mounting locations and design. First, I tried mounting to the handles, but dang this headliner hangs LOW. The headliner also has weird elevation drops and curves. I ended up sticking to the middle "pocket" where the rack could tuck up out of the way. Also dealing with the dome light as it would get covered up. My proposed design will let the stock dome housing snap into a cutout and offer full retention. This model rack sits further back then the NON-Sunroofs, but surprisingly has more surface area for mounting. I will be getting a prototype cut soon and do a final test and tweak. :D
