It was horrible. You know that overpowering toxic chemical smell from cheap plastic items from overseas? Yeah. That was it. I had aired it out in the garage outside of the truck for close to a week. Smell was just as bad. Sent it back. I couldn't put that thing in the truck and have a 2 year old back there. Terrible.

With this one, I believe its OE Toyota - I'm sure the smell is long gone. haha

Not so sure on those Universal bedrug kits. They never should've stopped making them.

Timing chains will really never need to be tinkered with tho, right? maybe if it was a timing belt in the back I'd cringe lol

IDK but think about it... if that tensioner or any of that stuff needs to be adjusted or replaced, that entire engine is coming out. Dan's going to love that warranty work... lol.

Yep. It's a rad little town. The hardest part of living in Bishop is finding a job that pays you enough to be able to live in Bishop. lol

 

I just can't pay $600 a wheel, especially when I get 5 for matching spare.

As per the universe, I don't think my new shocks will arrive on my designated work day this thursday :/
