Yeah I’m not a watchmaker. That mech is way too complicated for me. Plus finding parts for that is impossible.

 

I don’t have the time nor the patience to fix something that intricate. Try to find parts for a 40 year old clock found in a specific model Nissan too

 

Installed a junkyard rear window and dropped the drive lines tonight. Clutch shows up wednesday.

 

Just glue a Casio behind it.

 

Yeah, actually the basic plan. I’m going to get a movement from a cheap clock and stick the face in front of it.

Lemme rephrase. They make people who fix clocks. Just drop it off and pick it up a week later.

 

The Nissan 200x series car is Vicente’s dream car, and I still owe him a birthday present. So I’m going to be painting up the valve cover and sticking the clock in the oil fill hole. I stole the VIN plate off the “B” pillar and it’s going front and center on the valve cover.

Oh dude there’s a whole website of a guy who exclusively fixes Nissan Z clocks. But he charges nearly $300. I like Vicente, but I don’t like him that much.

 

They make people just to fix clocks?

 

Id just find some local watch shop. Its a quartz clock. Not a lot of specialty stuff going on in there.

If it was going in my car I would go through the trouble of having a watchmaker fix this it. But this is just a present for my friend, I’m sticking it on the valve cover and hanging it on the wall.

 

We have them out here.. I got my antique clock fixed for 80 bucks

 

I paid $8 for the gauges. I’m not spending more on it
