Hey all,(Nebraskans) I’m interviewing for a job in Lincoln and was just wondering what Nebraska life is like for an outdoors guy/mountain man : hunts, fishes, camps, hikes, shoots. From Ohio, but I’ve lived in Wyoming Colorado Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma.
    Any insights are appreciated.

If you like flat nothingness and Husker football you'll be in heaven.
    If not, Colorado is close

the sandhills west of Grand Island I was checking out a little bit until i had to turn around and head back to town

the land formations from the wind and erosion are crazy and probably get better the further west on highway 2, i have not traveled that road thoroughly so don't quote me!
but its probably all private or government land if you want to go offroading

Haha. I guess I just mean if there is plenty of sportsman’s stuff to do. Because if I’m stuck in town every weekend I’m gonna get pretty depressed. Driving 7 or more hours to Colorado/Wyoming every weekend is gonna get tiring too.

I dont do team sports and the such. Also not a fan of flat.

i mean there are no real big lakes or plentiful forests that i know of, so not much shade
probably some minimum maintenance roads out there in the hills
very muddy in the spring if there has been a lot of snow

There’s a few small lakes around and the river. Pretty sure that’s what most people do.

MN and WI are probably better places with thicker ice

No one else seems to have issues with it. Then again I don’t try to pressure wash mine

@kairo’s guest house having a water with @not_nick
    Under development
I’m surprised, I used it through 5 winters on my last truck and it worked great. Can’t say I pressure washed it in the dead of winter though. If it’s warm enough to do that, the slush and ice will just melt off. Mine has always still been there in the spring when I scoot under for oil change. Good luck with your testing though.

i just can't leave that slop sitting all over in the rear wheel wells, i never have
no sloppy taco! i am also in there to wash off the body panels so usually always hit the wheel wells pretty good

this test will be a bit different though, i am not going to be running it through the touchless auto undercarriage wash, i will just clean under the rockers with the hand wand
i am interested to see how it holds up in the bottom corner wheel well
the directions on the bottle say it will not readily wash off :notsure:
