that is possibly the worst 'mod' I've ever seen. wth is wrong with people?

Honestly I doubt he would tell the difference from a battery powered Quartz movement from a 12v quartz movement. It would work better hanging on the wall too, no cord for the power supply.

If I swap the hands too, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

 

Cool. Didn't see that you were replacing the movement. Thought you were leaving it broken.

 

Oh yeah, might as well make it work. I can just take a AA battery movement from a travel clock and put the face on top of it.

Nope. But i made one for a guy put of scrap wood he gave me. It was actually pretty good being it was cobbled together. Roof open up. Sloted in the back to easily shovel out hay.
Was on stilts to keep it out the mud/water

I made my dog his dog house.
Im not great but i can make a sturdy structure though it might not be pretty. My parents use to let me play with scrap wood and hammer and nails as a kid. Built all kinds of forts in the back yard.
