I use a walco pick with 28 inch handle. It's the mid sized one they used to sell in Oz. They're not in business any longer. I also use a few hand forged picks I made myself.

I picked up a no date Buffalo nickel today, my first. It's pretty rough, but I'll keep it. Found it in a grassy park-like area where three old houses used to be.

Very nice. Sounds as if you're getting used to your heater? Very nice indeed.

This hobby is either super fun for people or they just lose the interest in it. For me, I LOVE the hobby!!! I have many different coils to choose from that were bought after. In other words, I have the coil or coils that the machine came with, and then there are coils that I bought after the fact. For example, that Detech 13in Ultimate on my 250. I would NOT have spent the money if I didn't care for the hobby. Some of those coils are well over $100 just for the coil alone. Then the gear on top of that!!!

Anyways, I hope you stick with the hobby for sure. :fingerscrossed: It sounds as if you're pretty stoked at your finds and that is a good sign you like the hobby or definitely interested in it.:fistbump:

I like the Smokey badge! It is easy to tell the difference between zinc and copper (visually). I imagine the two rung up slightly different on your machine.

HAHAHAHA, I'd much rather have found the "Smokey the Bear" than dumb "Chuckee Cheese" coins (sp)... don't even care for the joint. Been to those places a few times per invites and just hated it every single time!!! Good find with the Smokey!!!:fistbump:

I'll try to find my mouse coins as they're in my storage unit as well as other coins I have, I didn't find them, but got them from my mom.
