Forgive my ignorance... to replace the low and high beams, you would have to order four bulbs, correct? And did you notice a big difference with your fogs, other than appearance alone?

If you do your door-handles, too, they’ll match better - esp with your blacked out badges.

That's a horrible idea. What time?

I like it, I think it looks good. But I'm curious about how they will hold against bugs and road debris.

I had to add my bed extender so I could pickup my exhaust. It was late and dark and the pic was an afterthought. :D

Yes. 4 bulbs. 2 sets. I replaced my fog lights completely with blacked out Morimotos with amber LEDs in them. I’ve read where the Hikaris are not the best for use in the fogs.

Yeah the Go Rhino with the goofy sides removed/not installed. I’ve always wanted Marty McFly’s helix. It’s useless for front lighting on a DC, but holds rear and ditch pretty well.

Valid, so I have a 19 Off road and my friend has a 17 Sport. Both are stock. He gets 20mpg and I get 16. We did a test where we swapped his off and put it on mine. I noticed a 1.7 mpg improvement. Which is not enough for me to really care about. (The biggest thing I could do would be to put the all seasons that came on the sport on mine. If I wanted to improve the mpg) However, we live in south Texas on the coast with frequent 25-30 knot winds. My Off-Road is pretty hard to hold straight on the highway with crosswinds. What we noticed is that with the air dam on, it was significantly easier to drive the truck. It takes less than 10 minutes to remove so when I’m putting highway miles on it and driving daily, I will gladly take difference in look to make it easier to drive.

Good to know! I’ve been hesitating pulling through trigger on the bar because of the sides. And yeah - Marty McFly flex for sure! Been wondering how some KC’s would work on a DC (assumes not well. lol). Got any pics of your ditch and rear lights wired up to it?

Ha. Looks like what would happen if I tried it. I’ve come to accept that I’m not a finesse guy. I can do basic wrenching but anything that requires some a light touch is beyond me. Kudos for trying though. Beautiful truck by the way. I wish I would have gone with the white/black combo.

I’ll have to grab some new ones. I just switched phones.

I really like the look, but I honestly feel there are better ones for the money. I expect full welded aluminum stout bars and instead they came like an IKEA flat pack. My gut said send them back, but I didn’t want the hassle. However, the proportions in this rack as far as looks go are way better than anything else I’ve found.

I tried a 40” led bar and that just didn’t work well (too low). I think KC would totally be the way to go, but I haven’t wanted to pull the risky trigger. That’s a lot of money if they don’t work.

I’ll grab some photos in the daylight for yah when I have a sec.

I think you’re overly caught up on total center of mass and only thinking fore and aft. Consider the force on added mass behind the rear axle while in a turn. In more slippery conditions the added moment can break the rear wheels loose to the side.

Thank you. I LOVE my Tacoma. Yeah, starting to realize that, I too, am not a finesse man. I’m too impatient and cheap. Being stubborn comes at a price, I suppose/am slowly learning.
