We have 7 or 8 and then 3 floating holidays. Not great. We don't get the full set of Govie holidays which is bullshit because then they try and stick us at the office the day's actual Govie's or Green Suiters have off.

did you see what happened here
    yikes...

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- Dashcam video captured the terrifying moment a truck lost control and nearly hit a man and a state trooper in western Iowa.

The video shared by the Iowa State Patrol was taken from a delivery truck sitting on the side of Interstate 80 near Council Bluffs.

Authorities were assisting with a separate crash when a truck lost control and came barreling toward them. It created a close call, but fortunately no one involved was seriously injured.

"If you have to be out driving during inclement weather, please remember to slow down and be aware of the road conditions," the Iowa State Patrol said on Facebook.

Jesus. Once again proves the roads aren’t the dangerous part, it’s the other people out there that don’t know how to drive

    Morning y'all fellow slackers.

Ordering my Rokblokz next week finally, I think. Then I shall be saving up for wheels and tires. I am still a bit on the fence on wheels. I like the way the 17" 2020 Pro rep's look. However, I think I want something with a bit more aggressive offset than the Pro Rep's or OEM Rep's give. I absolutely do not want to run spacers. More research is required.

Also the guy with the trailer on the east coast is tempting me......

I've run both sets of OEM pros, they stick out more than enough - half inch per side. much more and all they do is coat the sides of your truck in grime.

@Shellshock - Meant to tell ya, I bit the bullet. I pulled the trigger on CISSP training from ThorTeaches.com with the Boson test simulator option. Giving myself a 3 month window.

Is there more companies out there that sell "tuned" shock setup like AccuTune?

i am awaiting word on my peer in Denver that just got some pricey King struts and is going to road test them
he said they took him about 30 minutes each side to install very easily and the place he bought them from wanted $500 to install (Toytec i believe) and would take them 4 hours
how different are they compared to the Fox shocks/struts

Usually a shop charges hourly. So they aren't going to charge 30 minutes when if something could go wrong and take them 40+ minutes to do at all four corners. Perfectly logical for them to charge an hour a strut/shock. Lastly, a shop makes their money on the labor. Not the parts.

2 local tire/muffler/brake shops here certainly make money on the parts!
they want to charge me twice wholesale for LBJs parts

and i think the 4 hours they quoted him was just for the front suspension work, when all that is needed is to take 6 lug nuts off and 4 or 5 bolts, they just slip right out and slip right back in, nothing real complicated that is going to take 2 hours each side
i have been quoted 2.5 hours labor just to replace my LBJs
with the parts its over $500!

That’s his shop time works. They have to account for things like all your crusty nuts and bolts they’ll to remove which may break or have to cut out and replace
