Doing the math on a TPMS reset for my new wheels and seems like I can buy a tool for around the same price and then not be stuck with dealing with a shop for resets and issues I win. This tool looks like it will do more than just reset TPMS, but also provide ODBII information as well.

Looks like it is about $50 https://www.auteltech.com/mk1/3262

Everybody needs a tire guy. You know, the guy you call and ask "bobby! can ya reset my TPMS dude?" or patch a tire, or whatever. You sound like me, buy the tool. Then something else will pop up. Lol

Yup, I was never that guy. I worked tires and shops for a few decades. I now have a tire guy and he's my savior. Lol. My back can't do it anymore. (and honestly, a fiver ($5) goes a long way in a garage..lol)

Oh, and a good scanner is never a bad idea.

I'm thinking just for the scanner use alone it will be worth it.

BTW, nice rack! Respect the NSSDR stars.

Thank you. I was in your area a few months back. Went to the World Golf Hall of Fame. Love St. Augustine. I retired out of Kings Bay. (not a bubblehead, lol) I held on there as long as I could but ended up in the flyover state of Missouri...lol. Thanks again.

Just shore duty. I came out of a Joint Command in Stuttgart Germany and Kings Bay looked like a nice place to retire, which I did. Just could not handle the south Georgia thing.
