This, that was a terrible lane change almost like you wanted to cut him off to be a dick and aggravate the situation.

Welp, you can all think what you want. I was trying to show how 30fps was not as useful as 60fps and I guess I should not have offered any advice by showing my own mistakes, because now I'm getting shit on by people who think they have a right to shit on me about the situation. Entirely not what the message was, but cool guys, your input is totally appreciated.

I didn't say "this guy caused this" or "this guy is to blame" -- I only said that it would have been nice to be able to provide an actual plate number by having a higher fps count. I don't get why the sudden blame-game was played, as though I was somehow saying I wasn't at fault. It doesn't matter. It happened years back and it's over.

I'm done engaging in the ridiculous responses.

I definitely contemplated the Rigid's (I have some on my Teryx4 and they work great) but I plan on getting some Baja Designs Squadron Sports when the funds are available. Also want to do a 20 inch OnX6+ bar on the bumper. But it'll be awhile. $$$$$

dude it's the internet, everyone is going to say what they want to say, try not to take it too seriously. 99% of posts asking a question will end up getting derailed by the 2nd post. We all have issues with reading comprehension and disregard what your question/post is about and find something else to discuss.

Victim shaming blame game, it doesn't matter. Don't let it get under your skin. That's only going to encourage trolls to start picking a fight with you. None of us will ever meet in person so there's no point in taking anything personally. Post whatever you want (as long as it follows forum rules) and if ya get flamed then politely agree or disagree or ignore it and 5 minutes later the topic has changed because besides reading comprehension issues we also all have ADHD.

Stick around and KCCO, it's a good time on here.

How many of those are 6 point vs 12 point? I've found the 12 point ones tend to round off bolts pretty badly.

It's not that it gets under my skin, because I don't honestly care what random people think. It's that we should expect better. I know I really try to treat everyone with as much respect as possible, until I've been given a reason not to. That's what my parents taught me, treat others better than you are treated. Internet or real life, it doesn't matter, and I feel like we, as a society, should stop making the argument of "boys will be boys", which is the same, and pardon me for being a tiny bit reductionist, as "people on the internet will always be assholes because you can't see their face". We should always expect better of people, and writing off troll behavior because of the aforementioned argument shouldn't be generally accepted, it should be the other way around.

I'd really rather just delete the entire thing and send the post to him directly so he understands why I advocate for higher bit rates and frames. Unfortunately for me, I can't do that, which means this continues for as long as I let it continue. At this point, the only reason I responded about the chain of events/posts previously was because of your well thought out response.

Thoughts on the pressure washer? I go back and forth on this one all the time.

on one hand, it's small, electric, and relatively inexpensive. No motor to really worry about and it seems like it would store pretty well. Probably good for 80% of uses. On the other hand, a more expensive one with a motor will put out double the pressure. I just don't want to buy something and have buyers remorse because it isn't sufficient.

Also, score on the socket set.

“Buy once cry once”. I’ve replaced way to many electric over the years. Unless you’re worried about too much power, go gas. One less chord to untangle and work around. Plus it’s a great investment and you could always wash the house and other equipment. Some have 3 year warranty on the Honda motors.

i was also bouncing back and forth between the 1900psi and the 1600psi. After a quick google search i found that 1900psi is the highest you want to use on a car (which is its primary purpose), so i went with the 1600. It was also $30 cheaper... I had a $150 gift card so i used the left over to help pay for the sockets. Walked out the door paying ~$30 after the gift card and military discount.

Used it last night to wash Barnwell mud off my truck and it did a really good job! And its nice how small it is! doesnt need much space to store!

Comes with a ridiculously long power cord and a 20' hose.
