    Ugh...I can't wait to find a new job. I did email a recruiter back this morning for a phone interview, but haven't heard anything else from my other applications yet. /sigh

    I've been there, and it can truly crush the spirit to try your hardest every day and hear nothing back from anybody. It gets to the point where you begin checking your sent items folder, and even sending yourself emails to make sure they are making it out correctly. :rofl:

    When I think of all the time I've spent carefully crafting cover letters and applications, only to hear nothing back... ever. I guess it's just part of the process.

    Keep at it and keep positive!! After all - nothing ventured, nothing gained. :thumbsup:

    Gosh, ain't that the truth. I think part of the problem is people bum rush new job postings and apply for jobs they have no business applying for. I try to be very thoughtful about my own time and that of a hiring managers and I wouldn't be applying for something I didn't think I was qualified to do. It makes me a needle in a haystack. It also doesn't help that I have narrowed down my search to a very specific area with remote working capabilities. It's not that they don't exist, it's that it's hard to find those finer details mentioned clearly on a job board.
