    Sorry, I should have specified.. I bought the base rear bumper from VolFan57 and I sold my chrome bumper on craigslist.

    I also got the rear window tinted darker.

    The grille is the last bit of chrome on the truck. I can't wait to get that swapped out. Anybody want to trade their white one for my chrome one?! :D

    I can't handle it, I don't know why. I think it looks good on some vehicles, but not my Taco...

    Darn it, you got me. I also have chrome in the headlights still... I guess I'll have to do the Projector Retrofit...

    I keep looking for your truck too... I'll PM you and maybe we can meet up this week or next week. I might be able to make the mini meet too now. We'll see.

    Darn it, add that to EricT's list above. I've seen a couple guys on here with the black tail lights from Ebay, but they seem a bit expensive ($200+ iirc) and I think the center section looks a little wierd. I'll have to figure something out.

    Ahhh, another parishioner of the Church of the Sacred Anti-Chomite. Welcome!!

    Yeah, gotta do something with the tails. Downside is if you like the style, only thing I've found/seen is to tint the lenses some to lessen the chome effect. The black aftermarket's still have the chrome daisy. I chose to go with a blacked out old-style bulbed aftermarket tail.

    Haha! Yes, I'm also a parishioner of your church. Haha!

    I like the look of the LED tails, just not the chrome in it.

    The "daisy" in the black aftermarkets is more defined. It reminds me of that email that came out a couple years ago about the lady that went to Africa on a mission trip and got a bug in her bra that burrowed in her boob and multiplied. It was a hoax but still, not a pretty picture.

    The BTLM sounds a bit too in depth for me.

    I'm not a big fan of the 05-08 stock tails either. I might do the VHT niteshade spray, it worked good on the lenses in the headlight.

    With the chrome in the tails, Im not a fan of it at all. I havent had any luck with the search on TW, but has anyone taken the same approach to the the taillights as the BHLM to the front? I've seen lots of tinted tail lights, but thats not what Im talking about. I'd like to remove the lens and paint the Chrome piece in the center that houses the LED portion more of a black or something. Anyone done this or seen any threads on this? Again, I havent found any threads on it, but maybe Im using the wrong search words.

    Search for BTLM in the 2nd Gen forum. I was just reading over it. Sounds pretty in-depth. Its not as easy as the BHLM because you can't bake them and peal them apart. You have to cut them apart with a dremel. Sounds scary. I wish someone who was good at this offered their services. They would make a killing.
