    I am just using the stock included clamps. It’s a slow leak so as long as you check it often you should be fine. If memory serves me right I think someone sanded their nips a bit and got it to stop leaking but I may be thinking of something else. It’s somewhere in this thread.. only 1200 pages to go through lol.

    I have thought about getting some brazing rod and attempting to make my own square reservoir but with my fat fingers I don’t know if I would trust it unless I am able to get it on the inside and outside of the tank.

    @Roostfactor did something like this. Adapted an electric fan onto the OEM shroud.

    while im swapping engines i want to send out my S/C for a rebuild, any recommendations? I know of Jon bond performance, superchargersonline, and stiegemeier or straight to Magnuson?

    recoating the rotors or impellers is the largest expense ($750), everything else is three bearings, a seal and an oil change. My impellers looked fine so I just got the kit and did it myself.

    The coating on these gen 5 impellers are not garbage like they were on gen 3 and 4 m90s.. the chances of their coating wearing away prematurely or chipping away like they used to are not as much a thing as they used to be.

    I did replace the needle rotor bearings in the back but not the nose bearing. I used a blind hole puller and got them out. I used a touch of antiseize on the new ones fresh out of the freezer then tapped them in with a 3/8” extension that fit perfectly. I will need to dig up the specs but they are supposed to be around .0030-.0060 deep. I can pull up specs if interested.

    Nice! I’m gonna do this press install myself and replace all the bearings pretty soon. I got close to 80K miles with a 2.3 pulley. I’m trying to find a pulley removal kit for the 5 ribbed. Something like the VMP pulley removal kit

    Specs would be great :thumbsup:

    Derale system. Not custom but measured to be the best fit for our radiators. I'll mock it up off of the stock radiator to figure out mounting options
    EDIT: stock radiator is off truck sitting as csf radiator is currently installed

    Thats why all my parts are black in CA. Incognito is the way it goes. Technically my carb sticker is only valid with the Magnuson tune but no one checks that.

    tell me more about this. Sounds like the current one has leaking issues. Is this something to consider out of the gate with an aluminum or other various caps etc? I was looking at a different aluminum and seems like that was a better option than the plastic one. I cant recall which one but figured the current setup does not use one so what is the benefit of swapping it out.

    will be not be an immediate item but if there is a reason to swap it ill consider it down the road. Besides replacing it what key things should we consider?
