x2 on unions. In fact, I'd do a union on both sides of the valve, so when the valve shits the bed, you can swap is out easily.

Or, you you are feeling more ghetto and don't mind a little pressure drop...use the four 90s (ells) approach. This is a great trick an irrigation guy showed me, and it is indispensable for breaks in buried pipe.
But, with your easy access and the valve, I'd go unions.

I was in Oakland Sunday night and came out to a broken window on my car...I'm assuming a person did this because the car was parked next to the curb by a pole.

Anyway, Safelite quoted me over $900. A Toyota OEM window is $65. Anyone have any glass shop suggestion in the south bay? I live in Los Gatos at the top of 17 and Summit road and work in fremont.

I'd love to replace it myself but not sure what's involved and there doesn't seem to be much online about this car.

The nearest tape I had lying around is lime green. I thought about glueing a piece of aluminum I have left over from my camper over the hole until I get it fixed but the plastic and tape were right there.

They are a great tire. They're not that loud on road and hook up most times off road. I'll be running them again once I kill my pitbull 35s and move to 37s.

I had a new windshield installed on my truck last year somewhere. After a week it had a dime size chip and Low Price Auto Glass fixed it for like $40. You can't even see the chip.

I got a BONDIC pen from Ace hardware and used it to make a tab on my Morimoto fogs, maybe it'd work for that too? It's like an epoxy that hardens with UV light and turns into a plastic. You have to sand and degrease the two broken off ends to make it bond correctly but it seems to be working for me. $11.

I’ve never done it but I’ve heard of people who do it themselves. Sometimes those small windows are tricky with trim and such but every car is different. Might be a YouTube video out therE for your car? But the cost of the window may be 80-90% of the repair cost unless you can find a used one. Good luck!

Yeah, it's looking like 50% of the cost is labor. I replaced a windshield once...never again. I think this will be easier than a windshield but I'm okay with having someone else do this one. My car only has 30,000 miles on it and I don't offroad it;). If it were the truck I'd just glue a piece of aluminum over the hole and declare it armored.

I couldn't find any youtube videos or anything on the ScionIM forum.

Browns camp can be no joke even in the summer. Couldn't imagine being stupid there during the heavy winter.

It's honestly a cell phone dead zone. Surprised the guy got any reception to begin with. I don't typically get it until I'm back into town there. A good 25 miles
