Good job Mike! Twisted, those crunchy leaves can be a blessing and a curse to. Sometimes on those crunchy days your adrenaline is on overdrive because you hear every cotton-pickin rabbit and squirrel and bird and raccoon and yada yada AND the deer.

 

Thanks Todd! I enjoy hunting more than most, it is really my passion. I don't keep what I don't eat, and have been able to help out a couple of close friends the past couple of years that weren't so fortunate.

3rd gen

 

It was a beautiful day for sitting in the woods. Saw a red fox, a few hawks and four doe in the next county over....

 

Wow, this was the slowest PATW day ever! Food for discussion... has anyone ever driven a 1st gen. that was supercharged and know whether its worth the hype? I've had a couple fast cars in my younger years, so I probably wouldn't be impressed to make my V6 "faster". It would still be slow and still be a truck. But what's y'alls opinions on whether supercharging is to be desired or not?

 

My 99 was boosted with the 1st gen supercharger running at about 7psi. was enough to keep a smile on my face. @blackout14 and @Littles can vouch for how fun that truck was.

You bet! Those are a special breed...

Because of squeaky plastics, Toyota have decided to stick a piece of felt between speaker cover and the "A" pillar. It's possible that it worked itself out. If you stick a piece of something (even a toothpick) in that crevice, maybe it'll stop creaking. If not, idk...

Edit. BTW, I replaced my piece of felt, when I changed the speakers

I never got to drive it, but I have fond memories of that truck. For me it was AC/DC though. Craig had his state of the art mini disk player blasting Stiff upper lip through the bazooka tubes over the whir of the supercharger while chirping 2nd gear on the way to Monday night boy scout meetings in Southampton. that truck had some boogie in it.

Craig was so cool back then.

 

I got to drive it one time for about 3 minutes cause Craig wanted to eat a hotdog or something lol

Pretty cool to have seen that truck though, a supercharged little speed racer...and then you went a completely different direction with the 2nd gen.

 

And now you're my near twin with your build.

 

Anybody here an electrician? I have a question. If I hook 2 12v battery up to get 24v. Could I hook a 12v item say a light bar up to the positive and negative of one of the two batteries while they hare hooked up for 24v and still have 12v?

 

@6 gearT444E would know what to do.
