I tell a lot of people no, which is been something that has taken a long time to get to.

I am glad to say I could tell her no as well. she is honestly in a better financial position than I am and said if she was going to pay someone to do it she would pay me to do it instead if I wanted. A lot of her home projects get done by someone else as she hires a contractor. I take care of the smaller stuff when I am able and offer to.

Hmmmm dunno how I feel about the headlight hoops on the 97-00 front end

 

So rivets. Specifically the rivets used on the hood strut brackets. If I drill out a rivet, the back part of it is going to drop off and be forever loose in the hood, correct? Anyway to remove them completely without losing that back portion?

 

Never drilled one out but...maybe a larger magnet on the hood directly below where the rivet is? That way if anything were to "fall" the magnet would capture it?

 

When its painted black, I bet it really wont be a huge contrast to the lines of the front end.
