I liked mine a lot. Used to every day and kept me at peace of mind. I’ve got one for sale, I haven’t heard back from the guy if you’re interested it would be $220 shipped.

if I don’t hear back from the guy in a timely manner and you’re interested let me know

I’ve had one for about two years. I use it everyday. Very happy with it.

I have been thinking about this too. I like the idea for safe transport, but I also don’t like the idea of a tweeker finding it and ripping my whole damn truck apart to get it out.

I have a GunVault MV500 I keep in the glove box to keep the CA nannies happy. I have it tethered through the GB and secured to the fire wall. I also never leave it locked when it’s empty.

I see a fellow NorCal resident has concerns about tweekers. Exactly why I want to install this bad boy. Hahaha

I just used the 4 digit combo. It bolts to the cab via bolts inside the locked safe so a tweaker would have to do some serious destroying.

Haha! They are awful! I’m in Chico so it’s not too bad, but I have to go to Redding a lot and I don’t like walking away from my truck up there. Just going to the lake is a whole weekend of agitated worry. I’m in San Francisco a ton too but they are mostly smash and grab when they see a bag.

I leave nothing in my truck over night, but that doesn’t stop them from smashing for a snoop. Luckily it’s been a minute since I’ve had to replace a window.

I haven’t found one. I read the ‘NorCal’ thread but I was wishing there was one for above Lake county like Butte, Glen, Mendo, Lake, and Shasta. Maybe Tehama, but those dudes are weird... haha!

    We should start one!

redding is a special place man. Hahaha. And so true about SF. Too busy to disassemble anything. Smash and grab all day. Think I’ll move on this vault. In one break in it would pay for itself in not lost special things.

4 digit code. Seems to be working good. As others have said, tweekers smash, grab and run. This will keep your wallet, gun, etc. nice and secure and out of sight.

I’ve got a Lock er Down, works great. A .45 with 5” barrel fits (extended mags out), I was surprised.
