Not to be aloof or dismissive, but the “NorCal” threads on Tacomaworld in reality are based in central california. All Bay Area and sacramento hype. This thread is intended to be a place for all of us living HOURS north of that to have a place to connect and communicate about the Real NorCal. So bring all your hints tips and good times here ladies and gents. All things relevant north of lake county. Let’s see what happens.

I think the forums are all weird. The NorCal BS thread should be called the Bay Area BS thread, and then another thread like this one for the guys above Sac.

 

Checking in from Plumas (wanna be state of Jefferson) County here.
Was camping at Pillsbury last summer with some Coleman Collectors like myself. It wasn't like I remember from the early 60's.

yeah, i like to throw out that there's a city in CA named Weed whenever i can.

Hi Duane, wasn’t trying to be condescending. I honestly didn’t think that the OP saw the thread. As a newer member (although not much newer than myself), I did think that maybe it was overlooked. I actually had to search for it myself before I realized it was in the pinned topics (sticky topics), lol.
So, I’ll leave it alone, because, obviously, I also was misreading the general sentiment. I really was trying to be helpful but missed the mark. My bad.

Yesterday in the NorCal bs and spotted I asked if anyone had driven ol greyback from happy camp ca to cave junction or lately. It gets lots of snow so and closes sometimes, so looking for some clarity. And the response I got was “that’s in Oregon bro”. Hahah. From a guy in San Jose.... made me realize we need one of our own up here in the top 3rd of the state.
