Traps at the places where you think they are coming in and poison bait.

Good Luck and I hope they don't eat your wiring.

put out a nice strong poison away from where you park your truck, they will go to it eat it and die, I went down to one place and got a commercial poison that is too strong for retail sale, but make sure you have it in the correct container and such so domestic animals dont get into it

Yes. Mousetrap under the hood and on the ground under the truck as well. If it doesn't work, resort to what he ^ said.

I think the better option would be to place the traps around the truck. Because if you have luck like me, you will try to raise the hood and one of the mouse traps you placed will be near the latch and you will catch your finger in it! :D

With my experiance the rat just walk right over the glue traps. I use the regular spring loaded one and they work every time (except when I caught only a tail).

yeah its the rain it drives them out of there holes or whatever, we had a bad problem with mice a few years ago they will do tons of damage to your truck they like the battery because its warm but not to hot. if you find you are catching alot of them take a 5 gallon bucket fill 1/3 way with water drill hole in rim at top place coat hanger through hole place empty tolet paper roll over the coat hanger, cover it with peanut butter and build a ramp up to the top of the bucket. mouse climps up ramp and steps out onto the tp roll it spins and he falls into the water u can get up to 10 a night with this.

this was a problem at the hunting camp where due to dogs no poison
