Haha I actually didn’t serve. I’m a firefighter paramedic and my captain gave me half those patches as a jab at my lack of IV skills

In that case many thanks for your support I’ll keep working on my IV skills so my captain stops buying me these patches haha

The only times I did IV (and this is dating me) was back in the day, they gave us Combat Lifesaver bags (with all the IV stuff) and we mostly used them for hangovers. Frequent enough to become pretty proficient....

    I feel you man!!!

I have a house with 5 adults, a 2 year old, a dog, 3 cats, and an absolute CRAP-ton of STUFF that goes with each of the occupants. Things are stored in every room, cabinetry on the porch, 2 sheds, a storage unit and the attic. I am thankful I do not have a garage to fill with more crap I don't need.

Sounds like you need to have the year I have planned for myself and the wife. We have dubbed 2020 "The year of the PURGE".

We have started in our room and emptied cabinets, dressers, the closet and any other storage spot. IF we can not wear the size, have a "normal" need for, identify what, why, or any need for what we find it goes to one of the kids, charity, recycling, or trash. I have taken 2 loads to the local hospice folks, dropped old cell phones for use by the military overseas, and filled our recycling and trash receptacles more than once as well. The bedroom is mostly done and we are moving on to the kitchen.

We hope to finish with a lot less crap, 2 adults, 1 dog, and 1 cat. :fingerscrossed:

More likely to just get rid of some of the stuff. :annoyed: :rofl:

My wife reached that point a very long long time ago. I've finally come to the realization that it's time and I need to follow your example. The clothes that I will no longer fit into is a good start. Chances of me weighing 155 lbs. and having a 30" waist ever again are slim and none!
    Wish me luck!

Added black badges to the doors and replaced the chrome with black on the tailgate. I like black and white contrast.

All this talk of camping in the snow makes me think that this (my weekend off) will be a firepit weekend, probably solo though, I have considerably more insulation than the Mrs.

    Maybe I was wrong?
    Maybe not.
No degree in physics here so I have no dog in this debate, just an opinion. We all know what opinions are like. :)

Parked it at the airport for another trip to Kimball TN. For those of you that don't know where Kimball is... Fly to Chattanooga. Drove off into the sunset. Literally. Drive until your phone keeps changing time because it can't figure out if you are in the eastern or centeral time zone. And you're there. True story. Shout out to all the small town people like me.

It's all good as it should be. Nothing wrong with differing opinions.
