Not nessecarily what I was looking for, but I still appreciate the reply. To be honest your install looks good. Maybe it’s just the photo, but your center console and bezel both look black.

If you see in the photo below my center console is light grey.

Now I’m curious how that’s gunna look with this bezel that’s showed with the outlet install kit. I like the clean look of the bezel with the outlet and the usb.

However idk if it only comes in the black, or if there is a grey option to match my interior style. Maybe the black will look good matched with my grey console, but maybe it’ll also look like crap. Who knows, but I’d hate to do it all just to hate the contrast yanno.

Regardless, because of the location it is very hard to see and not like an obnoxious steering wheel or dash cluster. I think it will look good.

Ordered a primary set through your website, and then sent a Paypal for $55 for an extension. One will be going onto the back of the center console box, another up by the front passenger side in center console side. PMs sent as well. Is there a recommended site to purchase the outlets and trim pieces? Or would you consider doing a bundle with an outlet and a double USB option?

How far up from the top vent opening did you start your cut please?

 

I don't recall, but I will get you a measurement from the top of the lower vent to the bottom of the bezel later, then you can add the distance from the bezel edge to where the hole needs to be.

How are we looking at the Junction Block acquirement? Were you able to procure, or do we need to do this ourselves? Is there a part number/source info?

 

Part No.: 82671-30360. I purchased from ToyotaPartsDeal.com. I still have an inquiry in for a bulk order but it’s not looking promising. I would go ahead and get the Junction Block yourself because it probably would be quicker. I will be releasing Package 2 and Package 3 here soon as it has arrived

 

Our earlier Tacomas did not have power plugs in the back part of the center console compartment. Do you have pictures of where the 12vDC connector is linked to? Is it the V connector like up front center dash cigarrete lighter and power plugs? The recommemded dual 2.4amp plugs have attached female spade connectors on them, so could, perhaps just plug into them similiar to the Scosch wireless charger pad's adaptor which plugs between the lighter and ignotion switched power line.

 

I did not realize that 12v outlet in the center console wasn't standard. I'm sorry I don't know where it originates. I actually just cut those ring connectors off so I could use the positaps. You might be able to extend the wires and tap in to the 12v outlet in the center console.
