Pretty sure the stock is a single mass, just from looking at pictures. Also, it can be resurfaced, which a dual mass flywheel cannot

@OVTune were you using a manual boost controller for testing at higher boost on the base kit? I am trying to decide which way I'm gonna go for a boost controller.

yes a simple MBC will allow a bigger boost spike initially, with the same boost drop as no MBC

Do you have one you recommend? Also do you recommend running a boost gauge?

I just used one I had here. one of those cheapo turbosmart ones. Don't buy it though until our kit is ready to release, is my recommendation.

We have a few base garrett turbos on the way right now.

Also, for anyone interested, we have a supercharger kit that someone unfortunately did not get to use and is available. It's a beta version kit and is at a discounted price. I am still considering making more, depending on interest, but right now our primary focus is the turbos. Luckily we can CNC some brackets quickly when that time comes. Actually I have two, one "used" (testing on my truck).

Availability should not be an issue. Garrett only started up mass production of them a few weeks ago. within the next 30-45 days there will be an endless supply.

Happy to know you may consider making more. I am interested somewhere down the road. Just want to wait for feed back from those running your SC kit after they have significant miles of use as related to performance, longevity, maintenance, towing, dependability and general satisfaction. No way I want to give up the Tune for another developer's SC product.

OV mentioned he was going to sell tunes for competitor SCs, so if that’s your concern then you’d still be good if he didn’t end up supplying them himself.

Sounds like turbos aren't gonna be available as soon as I had initially thought. Looks like I am gonna have to buy some more crack...

What time frame are you expecting? Curious.
pretty much everything kit wise is done. I'm wrapping up tuning and testing.

Sounded like we were maybe looking at the end of January for the first round. I personally would be super happy as long as I can have them in and a couple thousand miles tested before colorado wheeling season starts in June. I would rather have a good product than a rushed one. I just remember seeing the #January on the facebook post a month or so ago. Regardless I am super stoked for this as I think a lot of us are. A bolt on twin turbo kit doesn't happen for very many platforms and I'm glad we get to be one of them.

The low pressure fuel pump ended up setting us back a bit, and then working through code further for PI/DI.
Kits definitely won't be ready to ship by the end of this month, but if all goes well we will look into taking orders soon. After we wrap everything up, post all of our developments , dyno results, tow testing, street test etc results on our blog.
