Might want to mention if it's a long bed or short bed one. Looks like your truck in a LB from your info.

Hey guys, passively looking for some new wheels locally. ISO 16x8 -25mm offset or 3.5 backspacing. Wanting a little more width for looks as well as to keep me a little farther away from obstacles on the trail. I have some Method MR804 16x8 0mm offset with custom 3D printed Toyota center caps to potentially trade + cash depending on wheels. The fake bead lock ring is beat up, but i could have that cleaned up if needed. Not looking for a perfect set, rash is okay because they will get beat up.

I would also potentially consider trading wheel and tire combo (currently have new 285/75-16 Patagonia Milestars) for a 16 or 17 inch wheel and tire combo with similar offset specifications mentioned above and a 33”-35” tire.

After the CMC @marinemonkey did for me and my caster being adjusted as far forward as it can, I’m pretty confident they would without any major clearance issues. Not necessarily wanting 35’s but if they fall in my lap then oops

Maybe haha. After this weekend testing out the 33's and additional lift, this thing is much more capable than it used to be. 35's definitely aren't necessary to get me where i wanna go. I see full tuck quite often so I'd like to have zero rub under all conditions like i do now, but i know thatll be tough with 35's and additional offset haha

Yeah buddy you're gonna AT LEAST have some type of rub unless you buy the cab mount relocation kit than you'll have some wiggle room
But hope it all comes out how you incision it man once getting to texas gonna start on the bumper build + swing outs

Love em! LOADS of traction off-road. But if a wheel/tire trade is the way to go to get the wheels I want, I’m not against it.

Good stuff bro, fun to see your recent progress and videos!
How are those Wildpeaks treating you? Would you get them again? (Not just for OR, but equally important for a hwy daily driver?

Oh boy. Don’t get me started on the Wildpeaks. I can’t say enough good things about them. Seriously one of the best all around tires I’ve ever ran. I put them through all the terrain; mud, sand, boulders, snow, ice, and they performed exceptionally well for the price point. I’ve had them aired down to 12lbs for a weekend of wheeling with no issues. On road manners are spectacular. Extremely extremely quiet, and wet traction was great(can’t say the same about wet traction with the Patagonia Milestars). Keep in mind I commute 80 miles a day to work and back so I feel like I’m able to form a pretty well-rounded review on them. Had 30k hard miles on them before I pulled em off and threw them on my stock wheels. Probably have another 10k left in them.

Yeah I’m right there at about 80 miles a day too. It’s got me thinking about a (gasp) hybrid as a commuter.
