Has anyone broken the driver/passenger paint code that identifies which side is which? I've been searching and there doesn't seem to be a definable pattern with the paint dots. I'm looking to install a 3rd Gen coil & shock on my 2nd Gen and don't want to install them on the wrong side.

I'm not sure if that is correct. So far, the general consensus is red/green = driver's side. Red/blue = passenger side. I'm trying to do my homework and get this right because it would really suck to install them on the wrong side.

Sorry for the bad info! I know I have seen it on here somewhere, but that was the only thread that matched my searches. :annoyed:

The answers have been all over the place. They are so varied that possibly these paint marks aren't location indicators. I've been searching till my eyes bled and still no definitive answer.....

    I just checked my 2017 TRD OR 4x4 DCSB. Pink/Green = driver side. Pink/Blue = passenger side.

That other thread mentioned the bar code on the shocks face the rear, and that matches up to mine as well.
