    I feel bad....
I paid 16k total for a access cab 2011 trd offroad with all the options and 48k miles on it.
If I were to spend 30-40k I'd rather buy 2 of mine.
    50k?!!!!! I'll take 3 of mine.
50k you must have money to blow...wonder what kbb is after you put a mile on it.

It’s nice to have a vehicle that’s not been a mobile meth lab or have sketchy hooker stains and smell

MSRP is higher for the 2020's, deals for 2020s are due to a soft market and aren't really deals, they are the same % off MSRP as it has trended over the years and I'm very aware what year it is. I am also not new to the buying / trading / selling of these trucks (on number 11), you know that awesome resale everyone talks about here? There's a reason for it, does not matter model year / time of year / etc. Discount tends to be at most 10-12% off MSRP, there are those that score 15% and the dealer lost unless they got them on warranties, financing, trade, etc. but that deal is 18% off MSRP, again I'll hold my skepticism even in a soft market right now, people tend to inflate things, especially on the interwebs.

They are also insanely priced. Makes so much more sense to buy new. I often watch the pricing on my traded ones to see what they sell at and crazy how much in comparison to what I paid new. Almost always better to buy new 2-3 years out, same was for the 2nd gens though too.

I agree prices are insane but I think you're proving the opposite of what you're trying to. The chrome bumper on that one means no tech package, which means no premium either. People on this thread are scoring TRD ORs without options for $34-35k. I'd gladly take ~$1500/yr in depreciation on a new truck vs taking a used one with 38k miles. Hell if that's the depreciation to be expected I might just get a new one every three years. I've taken more annual depreciation on my current 12 year old Highlander.

Why 3 years, I get one almost every year, between trade in credit / tax savings, break on reg fees for AD, depreciation is ridiculous. I got a whim to buy a new Silverado once, terrible mistake, owned it for a whooping 5 months before I took a bath on that one come trade in towards my 15 Taco, lol.

There’s also well equipped 2020’s with very low miles listed for 33k (edit I guess no prem tech).

do agree though. Most of these used prices, just makes more sense to buy new. Especially if you can haggle.

I paid that for my 19 with the same specs new in May last year, that one is not that great of a deal, the lower spec'd trucks only went up like $200 in MSRP or something like that. The inflated price on the 2020s came with the new advanced tech package, LEDs, prem, etc. etc.

Wait you say There’s also well equipped 2020’s with very low miles listed for 33k

Then you say makes more sense to buy new

New well equipped 2020s are 40-50k, this doesn't make any sense to me.

No I'm squinting to look at the rear bumper. I've looked hard at used, only ones which seem to have deals in my area are the blazing blue pearl, red, and that burnt orange color. None of which are for me.

For the price they are going for it should also be fully armoured or at least with some Kings!

I'm sure a professional paint job or a wrap won't cost you an extra 20k
