You're overthinking this man, like I said if it fits you're fine. If it doesn't fit, then you should start critically thinking about the part numbers.

Parts change over time. The manual hubs I replaced were original from 1999, the new ones Gunny sent me were completely different because they were manufactured more than 20 years later. Manufacturing methods change over time.

I think it's time to drop my gym membership and commit to finishing my home gym enough to do what I want to do

the 15+ min drive each way to the gym is just too much when I commute 1+ hour each way to work too

Just found out my valve cover seals were done by the dealer in 2015. 25,000 miles ago. Kinda confused why they are leaking again now.
Edit: They didn’t touch the half moons so I guess that’s the culprit.

Also was unaware of the Takata airbag recall on my Tundra.

You already tried just snugging the bolts down a little? You'd think that if they are leaking again from valve cover gaskets possibly error on install?

My phone double posted that but I just realized that it’s gotta be the half moons. It’s only leaking in the rear. The front leak is actually my oil cap seal.

Cool, that would sound most reasonable to me. The half moons are what I would most suspect after someone else has worked on it. Good call.

Check the full moons for leaks with a mechanics mirror.

Took the kid up the mountain today until it got a bit too hairy for me to want to risk getting stuck with a newborn in the backseat lol.

On the way down we saw a crane pull the crushed remnants of some coupe or sedan from the valley below where it went off the side of the road...doesn't look good for whoever was in that car

Yeah it was crazy, there were no emergency vehicles there so they must have gotten him/her out previously and came back for the car.
