I'm interested too. I though KB Voodoo was selling one that used the factory remote, but I can't find that anymore

the one N2 uses, you can use with your factory fob. you just lock the truck 3 times and it starts. (atleast for the push to start model which is also a plug and play kit so no splicing wires). but just a forwarning for those that havent read it, with the push to start (unsure about the key ones), when you open the door our truck shuts off. stupid toyota safety crap (they just got lazy since other trucks still work). I dont mind since i use it alot in the FL summers and takes only a second to start the truck back up then i throw all my stuff in the back.

    my 2 cents.

and like i said up top, get the phone module. total cost was just under 400 i think. took me 30 minutes to install using a youtube video. module is free for the first year then like 90 for 3 years. worth it for me since i park a distance away at work.

I installed it on my manual trans and the only wire I had to splice was the clutch start cancel wire just one additional step no biggie. Also with a manual you have the H key so truck stays started when the door opens. Only downside is you have to "prime" the truck when exiting in order for it to be ready to remote start

as long as the truck is in a ATT (or t-mobile) coverage, with the app on your phone and the cell phone module installed, you can start it from anywhere as long as your phone has data/wifi. i use it when ive been out to sea for a little while and pull into a portcall somewhere.

I have a 12v solutions unit with the cell module. It sounds like it is very similar to the one mentioned above. It is also plug and play, uses factory remote, and the cell module can be used anywhere you have cell service. I have been very happy with it.

I have the N2 and would recommend them with the cell package. I'm pretty sure they all source from the same place.

I have start x like stated above. Mine is the h-key and not push start. Being using it for 2 years. No problems what so ever. Cost is cheap also through Amazon.
