5000 lumen is not very bright for such a big light.

I've used 2 diff "Amazon brand" Led lights so far and they have treated me well. One thing I'd recommend is just silicone around the rear and where the cord feeds into the housing to prevent any risk of condensation. Otherwise I'd say go for it

Matt, appreciate the feedback. Any suggestions on what that size should be putting out? I'm definitely set on 7" Round. That's the largest size I can fit on the light bar.
The Hella Black Magic lights look awesome, but they don't put out much light at all.

Keep in mind that unlike 99% of Amazon or ebay sellers the claim for 5k lumen is realistic and most likely true. There will be 2 million lumen lamps that size straight from China on the market, but I would not trust them as far as I can throw them.

i have the Tuff LED versions and i love them. They are bright as hell. had them for going on 5 years and the powder coat has faded only slightly. I've gone through several large mud holes over the years on various off road trips. i re-sealed them about 2 years ago after i found a tiny bit of condensation. still sealed up good and tight.

yeah, i don't go through very many anymore..... cost me an a/c compressor and a condenser a few years ago.... too much mud in the condenser while having the a/c on full blast in a drive through line in the dead heat of summer caused over pressure in the system and blew the pressure valve which is built into the compressor casing.

This is how she currently looks. Rainy, cold day here in NW Arkansas.
    The Hella's are about 6"

I have these in 5in, knock off of the baja designs, so far so good. I like them because it's a flood and spot and the outer rim & logo can be wired up as running lights too.Screenshot_20200122-120355_Samsung Internet.jpg

I went to Tuff's website and it appears they no longer offer the 7" round like you have. The only 7" round is like the one in the link below.

I don't get the full benefits of the side shooter cause the lights are recessed into the bumper but its sufficient enough for me.20200122_190928.jpgNo lights:

Those will likely produce more foreground light than your Hellas, but highly unlikely to actually outperform them. What you want in an LED light is large efficient optics for distance projection. Pencil head size optics are going to have very poor performance, with little to no focus, and without focus you don't have distance projection. Dollar for dollar you will get better performance out of a quality halogen light than you will from a garbage china LED one. Spending <$50 for a set of lights will put you in the garbage LED category. The 'black magic' portion of your 500s are not doing you any favors, unsure if the blackout portion is removable on those. Have you upgraded the bulbs in your 500s? The stock bulbs are not great. You can get better performance using H3 Osram Nightbreaker +150 for stock wattage or stepping up to Osram Superbright 100w H3 bulbs. A single Superbright likely has far more output than both those LED lights combined, with drastically better distance projection. You will need to check that your wiring setup can handle the 100w H3s, but many run them in the Hella 500s.

I'm not sure either..lol, I'm a mechanic for republic services (garbage trucks) and we got some new trucks in, some of the headlights had bad running lights on them so they sent us new ones, so I decided to take the old ones and retro fit it into the housing. I figure price tags on new oem headlights for these trucks are $1k so they much be good..lol

Here's a better pic of the retro
