WHY DO PEOPLE WEAR HEADPHONES WHEN DRIVING?!? It’s absolutely 1. Stupid as fuck that’s what the radio is for dumbdicks and 2. Dangerous.

They are too cheap to buy subwoofers and upgraded speakers. They might not have a head unit that is compatible with their phone. I guess it’s more convenient for them. It’s illegal to have more than one earbud in

 

You are indeed right my friend. He was absolutely within the written law... but when the municipality pays MILLIONS to give you a better place to ride... freaking use it.

I'm understanding of areas without a path. I used to be an involuntary rider when I didnt have a vehicle so I get it. But dang dude... the path has a better surface than the actual roadway.

And Walton County does have an ordinance on the books due to the path that all vehicles stop before the path and yield right of way to cycle traffic. And boy is it enforced. They built their whole tourist marketing strategy on that damn cycle path. Look up anything for South Walton County. It's right there on top.

 

People who throw cigarettes out of car windows...

This is proof that smoking is such a filthy habit, that even smokers themselves don’t want their own smoked cigarettes in the vehicle with them!

 

I use a ash try in my truck. I picked up that filthy habit years ago.

 

I use to but picked up one of those ash can type deals.

Badge of honor, easy to earn but hard to keep. Someone is always more of a Masshole down the road a bit. Massholes, I just love em. When I go to a state where people follow the rules like cattle off to slaughter I miss the thrill and jesters.

For those out of staters, we can tell you are imposters if you honk, that’s too anonymous. You need to make and keep eye contact throughout the cutoff procedure whilst bird flip.

 

When two lanes become one and the prick in the left lane is completely determined not to let anyone get in front of them...

Several years ago I was in Newtown, and this person in a Nissan Maxima was so determined not to let me pass that they were driving on the shoulder to my left after the lane had become one!

 

dunno they have technology to pair to radio or most newer vehicles are bluetooth capable

 

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there are people who are oblivious and determined to get in front of you when two lanes become one...

Last year, a guy I believe to have been impersonating an officer was driving this green Ford Taurus; He was determined to pass the entire line and get in front, but I was on a mission...

My friend and I were going to see a movie, and I was running on autopilot to get home, get what I needed, and still make it to the movie on time! This asshole attempted to zip in front of me, resulting in me slamming on the brakes and blasting the horn.

When he cut in anyway, I gave him a taste of the high-beams, and he reciprocated by just sitting there and flashing the LEDs in his taillights. I knew he wasn’t a cop and just laid on the horn until he got moving...

 

I saw someone watching a movie on their iPad while they were driving this one time...

 

First responders and/or public officials who drive like asshats...

I was walking my boss’s dog in Doylestown a few years ago; a sheriff’s deputy in a prisoner transport van was eating a cheeseburger while driving, hopped the curb while making a turn, and almost hit us!

 

The ditz who hit my truck in a parking lot a few weeks ago and tried to pay me off with a hundred bucks not to contact her insurance company...



My truck ended up having almost $450 in damage! You bet your ass I called her insurance company!

 

People who text and drive!

 

teenage girls who "drive".

"drive" = eating, texting, putting on make up, steering with knees while simultaneously driving 80mph through a school zone with high beams on and both taillights out

I'm a senior in high school and luckily all my classes are online for the next month. I don't have to step foot on campus.

 

Heres my list of actual pet peeves

1. Driving slow in the left lane
2. Driving too fast in the right lane (actually dangerous, please don't do this)
3. Rolling through stop signs
4. Driving over the speed limit in rain/snow
5. Using turn signal too early
6. Not using turn signal at all
7. Switching lanes too late
8. Not checking blindspot (people at my school actually said they don't check them at all, they just hope nobody is there)
9. Overtaking through a double yellow line
10. Driving with headlights on when the sun is out
11. ricers
12. Merging slowly
13. Driving fast through parking lots
14. Using horn for absolutely no reason
15. Speeding in school zones
16. Speeding in construction zones
17. Driving with high beams on in the fog
18. Driving with high beams on around other people
19. Not turning lights off in parking lots at night
20. If you can't reverse into a parking spot, please don't try
21. Double parking
22. People parking next to me while I'm the one guy parking in the back of the lot
23. Not stopping at red lights (turning right)
24. Making illegal u-turns
25. Pulling over into bike lanes (impeding traffic)
26. Driving down the wrong side of the road
27. Not connecting trailer lights
28. Cutting across multiple lanes at once
29. Driving down the center of two lanes
30. prius's
31. j-walkers
32. deer
33. Not yielding to emergency vehicles
34. Blocking intersections because traffic
35. Not switching lanes to let merging cars enter (freeway in particular)
36. DRIVING 5MPH THROUGH A TURN

 

I'm guilty of over half of those.

Don't get old kid.

 

People who change lanes every 5 seconds in traffic. It doesn’t get you ahead, only slows things down!
