Hey guys, I’m new here and would love to find an oem 6Ft trifold bed cover. I have done all the research and Toyota will not sell it as a add on part. Only way to get it from them is to buy all parts needed and put it together myself for about 3k. Not happening. I’d be willing to pay someone what it’s worth as an factory option price and then some depending on condition of course, guessing around 6 to 700 bucks and whatever it would cost to ship it. I know there are mixed reactions on after market ones vs factory, and I just know what I want. If There is someone out there who has one and wants to get rid of it, I’d be willing to remove my factory bed cover rails and swap with you if they are in good shape. Thanks!

Seems odd. Try calling Camelback Toyota just to see what they say. Also, you might specify an earlier year, like a '17. They should all be the same, but their books may not show '20 parts broken down yet?

And what is an 'SX' model shown in your profile? Some type of dealer added trim package?

As far as looking for used bits, a post in the WTB forum would garner more attention than here in the new members section.

They don't sell the tonneau cover through dealers unless you buy all the individual parts for like 3k like he said, it's pretty common knowledge here. Best way to get it is to keep checking back here in the marketplace or the OEM tonneau cover threads where people list them or Facebook Marketplace/Craigslist.

I got my 5 ft from craigslist by using searchtempest to watch a much wider area.

That's one of the parts, looks like it is one of the panel pieces. It's broken into so many pieces that you even have to buy the mechanism to operate it and the weather stripping.

Edit: Yeah, TPD shows it as just the front panel of the 3 panels you need.

    https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~panel~s~a~set~tonne~64901-09010.html

It's VIN tied, so dealers will not take it off a truck that has it and put it on a truck with the package you want that doesn't have a tonneau cover. It's a ~$700 addon which is a decent deal for that cover, but only way to get it new is to find it already installed on the truck from the dealer. Dealers don't even seem to want to try and buy all the parts for you and install it even if you are willing to spend that insane amount of money to get one through parts. I learned all this after I bought the truck and the salesman told me it would be easy to get one. He pretty much tried to sell me on an aftermarket after the fact, I wasn't happy. Got lucky and got a good condition used one though.
