Yeah, I'm doing that whole thing again. Haven't had coffee since the weekend.

Probably the #1 dumbest holiday that we have!! At this point I hope we have a late winter with some really cold temps. Help kill the stink bugs, ticks and other bugs back.

There's quite a lot of truth in that.
We need a couple weeks in the single digits so the bugs don't get a head start.

Personally, I think we need more dumb holidays.

I think they should mix it up and try something different, other than a groundhog. Why not a ferret... or a marmot?
We might get more favorable results and actually have an early spring.

Wait just one cotton-picking minute! New York and Connecticut have groundhogs for Groundhog day?!?!

Personally, I take the prediction of Punxsutawney Phil more seriously than Buckeye Chuck.

I tend to disagree with this. No matter how cold and nasty it gets, ticks and mosquitos are still horrible every summer (imo).

Well that's no fun, but I get it since I'm in the same boat this time of year. Any fun plans for the weekend?

    Love this!

I was playing ping pong in ding dang. It was a real high stakes game in some opium den. Turns out the guys I was playing with don't like to lose. After I beat them, they beat me. Worked me over pretty good. Annnnnd this is hard to say. But they held me down, and shoved a ping pong paddle up my ass. It's never been the same. I'm damaged goods.

    ...

BTW, It wasn't the handle, I've been shitting pancakes ever since!

It’s been cold here this past weekend/week.

I have noticed at least around here the longer and colder winter we have the less ticks, mosquitos and stink bugs I see once spring and summer come around.
