i could hang out at the back of the dealership for the mechanics to clock out holding a sign or something
not opposed to paying their regular rate they personally get, just opposed to the $145 an hour the service dept charges
i have a very big job coming up that takes more than one person to safely do
    wish i was a teen/early 20s again!

i thought TW was the bees knees and all

some knowledge of espanol could help in the ethnic neighborhoods, that is where all the really old tacos probably are ending up here before they hit the salvage lot

i ran into an older Latino guy at the autozone store with an older than mine Tacoma but a 2wd and not in great shape bodywise
tried chatting him up about liking the paradise blue color he had and how many miles, etc. but there was a slight language barrier

Maybe you could get a job at a shop and use it after hours

did you try speaking louder and slower?

no, he was wanting to know why my rocker panels were not all rotted out like his were, thought I had new paint on there or something, and i was trying to show him the rock/chip guard coating stuffs, i don't recall if that was standard in the day or if i paid extra to have all that protective stuff done as a dealer addon

"People want to know that they will be driving on safe, well-maintained roads before heading out."

i think that is what i was looking for after hearing on the news and could not find it in a search

my state sucks that is BS if they think its nice roads to make #5

what kind of HELL is outside of our two states

traffic and infrastruture ranked #7 in NE wth
they must not try driving the 5 to 10 miles on I-80 here lately
and i don't need to mention the roads after you exit

It specifically says in the article that there were several things used to make the rankings. Not just road conditions, but things like gas prices and traffic too.

You talk like he read the article beyond “worst roads” and “Iowa”

road safety is #1 in my book, and being #7 and Iowa #8 does not add up

i saw somebodys tire blow out on these roads a few months ago on I-80

There’s a lot of reasons a tire can blow out lol

    :annoyed:

i sorted the safety rank column

MO is #49 and NE IA are in the 30s KS is 42 and WI 44

that must have to do with # fatalities per capita?

i loved the drive on I-29 south of the IA border
    very smooth!

the old Corolla takes a huge beating too!

i saw the area of road it blew out on at 60+ mph i was behind them a few lanes over
