If I didn't just recently buy this Taylor 714ce for $3200.00 I would be all over that.

Yeah, man! The Cedar Top is warm for fingerpicking but that bracing makes it nice and snappy and loud when needed. It’s a warm sounding guitar for sure. I’m not much of a singer (I sing a lot but never get better ha) so I built it to be real strong in the mid range to sing along with rather than your typical guitar that has no mids so it doesn’t drown out the vocals. Sadly every buyer had said they’d buy it if it had an electronic pickup. I left it out for the best quality sound. Love this guitar but some chronic health issues are getting worse and worse and it affects my hands so I can’t play for very long anymore sadly. Hope it goes to a good home! :D

would be cool if the jersey star went back Into production. I’d like to pick up one of those and the stagemaster remake.

edit - apparently the JS is back in production. That’s not good for my wallet

Playing hooky from work as I just got back home last nite from vacay.

The reason why I upgraded. Unless I bounced 8 tracks down to stereo 2 tracks, I'd already be out of room on my dp-02cf.

    Really digging this unit.

    I got it!

It's an Alvarez AC60SC hybrid and I bought it from the original owner. I have a few acoustics in my fleet, but have never owned one that could be plugged in, so I'm really excited.

Once I got it home, I started by removing the old strings (originals from years ago, me thinks) and then conditioned the fretboard with lemon oil. Then after cleaning and polishing the top, I tossed on some new strings and left it out of its case so it can acclimate to the temperature and humidity levels in the house.
Even though it still needs to acclimate and the strings are brand new, I was able to play a few songs on it and it sounds GREAT - even without amplification. I can't wait to jam out on it this coming weekend.

    Crappy phone pictures:

    Thanks!

I don't have an actual acoustic amp. :( My main rigs are a Roland Microcube (love it) and a Crate GT65 with a DOD pedal board array.

If you want to give boutique pickup companies a shot you need to try Bare Knuckle. I have a set of Abraxas (Vintage Hot) pickups in one of my les pauls. There's nothing I've ever played more articulate. I LOVE them. I want more to put in my other guitars. The other guitars aren't getting any love.

if they're on par with the 1000-series LTDs, it would be worth it. i actually really like the build quality of most LTDs (400 series and up).

i'll probably pick one up regardless, it matches my white ESP M-I Deluxe, but that has an ESP stamped trem that's impossible to find parts for. plus i've been looking for a pink guitar with that pickup configuration for my throwback 80s buttrock/ synth band.

Never played the 1000 series but I was looking at a snow white 1000 with beautiful pearl binding a few years back. Now I can even find one.
