Buy the Offroad and use the $10k you saved to add mods like a lift kit, bigger tires, sliders and some armor to make it a better truck by far than the Pro.

    That's a screaming deal on a Pro.

Test drove both the OR and the Pro in MT. The Pro suspension was more sure footed than the OR for sure. Not the mention the TRD Pro exhaust sounded better FWIW. People are saying 10k difference but if you get a comparable OR to Pro the gap usually isn't nearly that big unless the dealer has ADM on the Pro.

You can build out a TRD OR with better everything just about and save probably 4000 in money.

And if you spend all 10k it would be fully modded.

With the 10k saved you could upgrade wheels, tries, suspension, front and back bumpers, Camper shell, prinsu rack and even a Roof top tent and you'd probably still be under the 10k by a good amount.

I can get behind that a little bit. I think someone would have to prioritize the mods and make concessions and compromises on the amenities and creature comforts of the OR.

Here is a fairly apples to apples comparison for the Pro vs OR and that's without even addressing initial suspension and wheels much less the laundry list of other mods.

I think the bigger overall aspect is if you want the ride to be ala carte or all inclusive. Also, it's got to be frustrating for a lot of people with the continued warranty fights and denied claims with toyota because of garage engineering and aftermarket setups.

Thats reinforcing my point though. That example has no sunroof, leather, LED headlights, dual climate, MTM/360, heat seats, etc. Which would require a compromise in features to have money to allocate for mods.

True, but for every one serious wheeler out there, there is a guy who traded in his 2018 for a 2020 because it has apple play and the seat move on their own power now. For me I wanted to eat my cake and have it too so that why I went with a Pro when seeing it was fairly close in price. To each their own though.

Power seats appeal to me if the seat lowers because another reason I got an 18 over 19 Pro was because I'm 6'3" and didn't have enough headroom when it had a sunroof.
